We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people. Who Are We?The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling. We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe. And St Patrick was a Welshman, but to mock the Paddys would be racist, ackshually
St Lawrence is patron saint of chefs and comedians. If you don’t know why I suggest you don’t Google it before dinner…
Meta-meta-metacontrarians: it is not a good thing that people “create a sense of group cohesion among people who are a tad smarter than the average Mail/Sun-reader and who have constructed an entire social identity around that fact”. And such behavior should be frowned upon for the sake of the social cohesion of society.
Legalists:
Point of order: “a tad smarter” is a claim presented without evidence. The whole point thus fails on logical grounds.
There are different kinds of smarts. They have the existentially dumb kind.
Meanwhile, I take this opportunity (even though there’s barely an hour of it left) to wish a Happy Overlooked, Denigrated and Suppressed Day to all fellow residents of the largest NON-self-governing country in Europe!
He was Turkish-Syrian-Greek-Roman-Palistinian.
Sounds like BoJo.
St. George was known for sticking a spear in dragons. BoJo is known for sticking his dick in them.

Cynic: a valid point, but irrelevant. Like karens, global-warmingists %c %c ad nauseam, Upper Normies “just KNOW they are”, and it’s a waste of time attempting to confuse them with the facts. And ackshually, the Upper Normies’re most likely right about that anyways…
