About an hour ago, when I went to samizdata, I got a site called something like “kickbox”. The url was http://www.samizdata.net, but the page was kickbox.
It was dropsafe, Dom 🙂

Don’t feel bad. I got some animal porn site with a gif of a hippo continuously projectile-vomiting huge ostrich eggs or volleyballs or something. It was . . . disturbing.

I’m getting 404s when opening older pages from my rss reader and clicking the links under the post- is this the DNS changes? I’m not au fait with all this…

Hmm… has anyone else had trouble with ‘Preview’ not working?
Now we’re on ‘real’ https, using the preview button gives me a “Preview Error” (some of the time).
Firing up my browser debug, it looks like we have an internal server error on “https://www.samizdata.net/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=ajax_comment_preview”
Perry: it’s now fine. The navigation links on the page go to the post, rss feeds since this post open the correct page. Only items in my reader from before this don’t open, probably they point to the ‘old place’ or whatever the correct terminology is 😆
Well, < 30 sec. ago I replied to SQOTD 794, and Preview was AWOL. (The Edit feature worked fine, though.)
Oh, and it doesn't work on this comment either.

(Though for some reason, the “smile,” “sad,” and “eyeroll” smilies’ codes appear — 01F642, 01F641, and 01F644 respectively — rather than the smilies themselves. At least on OS 10.9.2, Firefox 28.0.)
FWIW, the preview function hasn’t worked on any of my computers (3 different ones) since they rolled out the edit feature. Edit works fine, though, so I guess it’s a fair trade.
