    Metastatic Girl rules!

  • How about “Harmless but Curiously Intriguing Girl”? I’d go for that.

T*** Toys here in sunny Japan produce a doll to act as companion to the elderly, bed-ridden and senile with a 1,400-word vocabulary that spontaneously responds to sound, movement, tactile input, etc. Obviously, the language is Japanese. Looking forward to the Aussie version which would doubtless include the phrase, “Sit down and wrap yourself round this, you lying Pommy dog.” (I’ll take a dozen). The boy version is slightly smarter. Not quite interactive, but we’re getting there. Would make a good chick magnet. Remember “Blade Runner”, intellectual courtesan, officers for the use of. Well, according to press reports, Japan is about five years from producing these. Should help to balance the supply and demand ratio. Can’t live with um, can’t continue the human race without um. Although of course for women, that one-liner is reversible.
