Wasn’t there an article in The Economist which just pointed out that the top 13 oil companies are state owned (socialist) and control 90% of the market and poor Exxon comes in at #14 and is the top public company?????
A fair analogy. The pot being a hypocrite does not make the kettle less black.
Well, growth of economy is risen through growth of the company,but environment is not a concern for them as i see it.
Invest in farming land in southern England.
If the CO2-based anthropogenic global warming greenies are right, we’ll be using the land for oil substitute (and vineyards).
If the 2020 solar minimists are right (on the planet-earth chilling as well as on the indisputable solar cycle effect), we’ll be needing every bit of southern fertile land to grow food to avoid national starvation.

Oh man, I’m sick of hearing about global warming.
I read an article by Al Gore in the paper this morning where he likens “sceptics” (i.e. anyone who doesn’t completely agree with his views) to moon hoax theorists, which in my book is as bad an insult as you can get. And two sentences later claims that “there’s no doubt” that he really won the 2000 election.
It’s this certainty and unwillingness to debate I can’t stand.
Thank god for global warming, else we’ll have to wear fur coats in Sept. in Chicago where the temperature was in its low 60F in the last couple of days.
