Who Are We?The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling. We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe. Why doesn’t the Left go back to their ateliers. They are really at a loss without sweet Uncle Joe Stalin. Carter smart, Reagan dumb, Bush dumb, Clinton smart, Bush dumb. Kerry smart. They really need an good enema and a new message. Regards
I wish I was as dumb as Reagan

For the first forty years of life, I hated the thought of atomic incineration more than death by any other means. That was because to die by atom bomb meant everyone else was a crispy critter too, and the human race had run out it’s string. Then Ronald Reagan came along and sonovabitch if he didn’t make that scenario just…go away. Thank you and goodbye, Mr. President. This world owes you more than it can ever repay.
