Who Are We?The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling. We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe. Yes, I had this exact quote in mind for an SQOTD.
Where do you start?
Beyond parody really. What is next, eh? Inviting Libya to be on the UN Human Rights Council? Oh… hang on…
First Britain, tomorrow the World!
No more Boom and Bust… Just Bust.
But does he have Tigerblood (TM)(R)(C)?
Abolish the IMF – and the World Bank.
This is rather unfair to Mr Sheen; the worst thing he ever did to a currency was roll it up and stick one end up his nose. If only the same could be said for Mr Brown.
I’m still firmly in the “good on yer, Charlie” camp.
Can’t say the same for Brown though. Wouldn’t it be a conflict of interest when we have to go to them for a loan?
I’d rather have Gordon Sumner.
