Grauniad Sports Pages? That’s an oxymoron surely. The Grauniad is the home of the very same teachers that discourage all forms of competition, lest it harms a child’s fragile sense of self.
Because they’re all winners really.
And everyone must win prizes.
I don’t know about Robert Mugabe, but if Sepp Blatter were to phone the English FA and suggest that Liverpool wins the Premier League next year or there’s no World Cup for you lot, you can bet your bottom euro that the FA would be pushing the Premier League as hard as it could to arrange it.
