We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.
Samizdata, derived from Samizdat /n. - a system of clandestine publication of banned literature in the USSR [Russ.,= self-publishing house]

Using a Playstation controller to fire a machinegun in combat… no, really! Talk about ingenuity! That thing does not looks very RPG-resistant, so it very wisely has a top mounted camera so it can fire from behind cover!
But guys, it is an improvised armoured ambulance, not a ‘tank’.

Who Are We? The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling.
We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe.

That’s rubbish!!
They should’ve used the xbox controller. 🙂
That bloke need to run some mad hacks for l33t skillz!
It was noted that American troops had an unhealthy lethality with the CROWS because of how video games have become universal among young men.
AKM, I don’t have a link, but I’ve seen footage of US troops in the ME flying drones with Xbox 360 controllers.
A previous effort:
The “Tank”
The Video
Cheers
The US military has used game console controllers on some of its remote controlled kit for years, for the perfectly sensible reason that the ergonomics have already been researched, developed, and tested to far greater extent than the military could manage on its own. There was an article in The Economist about it about a decade ago. I’m sure there’s a lefty wailing about that somewhere.
