Who Are We?The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling. We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe. Would Cameron be more credible if he had served in the SAS as did Entezoni in the Palmach?
He’d be more credible if he wasn’t so obviously not a conservative in any shape or form. Speaks volumes of the party who chose him, don’t it?
What are Cons meant to look like? We need to know this before we can say if Cameron is one!
Ineptocracy – A new word for our times
*Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc’-ra-cy)* – A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.
It is for me strange that the British are not in panic because after Brown came Cameron…
Btw here in Portuguese blogs the recent news that British Government in desperation is starting to promote 100 years debt got some sarcastic comments…
