We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.
Samizdata, derived from Samizdat /n. - a system of clandestine publication of banned literature in the USSR [Russ.,= self-publishing house]

The first space redneck Greg Allison claims this title because instead of finding junked cars hidden in the back yard grass when he mows, he finds rockets. If you ever wondered what happened to the wreckage of the DCX rocket, now you know. Its remnants have been serving as a parts source for Alabama space entrepreneurs.
Here is what the stripped spaceframe looked like as of a few days ago.

It kinda reminds me of ‘The Rolling Stones’. No, not the band… the Heinlein novel!

Who Are We? The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling.
We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe.

Merde- To quote Indiana Jones ‘It belongs in a museum.”
Rolling Stones?
It looks like a honky tonk wigwam to me!
The rumor is that the 7500 pound thrust LOX/methane from XCOR is going to be really sweet.
(laughing)
Dale, you’re such a nerd!
But yeah…I really enjoyed reading the Rolling Stones, too.
I was recently back in St. Louis, MO. It’s been a while since I’ve been back “home.” I took the kids to the science center, there and saw that the McDonnell planetarium has been redone as a rather nice X-prize exhibit. Of course, I had to think of you and your posts here. I guess that makes me kinda nerdy, too.
