I don’t make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts.

We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people. Who Are We?The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling. We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe. Slightly off topic, many years ago I went to see Will Rogers ranch home in Los Angeles. It’s in the Will Rogers Memorial Park in Beverly Hills and has a herd of buffalo grazing on the grounds. Vewry nice place. Incidentally, I also took a tinckle in the same public toilets on the grounds where George Micheal got arrested by an undercover cop for “lewd conduct” (tossing off). The toilet has been renamed, “The George Michael Memorial Closet” and can now be found on the Hollywoods tourist map. As well as the fountains, palm trees and flamingos, the place is festooned with security guards and hidden surveillance cameras. How stupid is George?
Deleted by editor. Interesting but completely off-topic
My favorite Will Roger’s quote (from memory):
“It’s not the things we don’t know that’s the problem. It’s the things we know that ain’t so.”
