We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.
Samizdata, derived from Samizdat /n. - a system of clandestine publication of banned literature in the USSR [Russ.,= self-publishing house]

‘Truth’ is all in the editing For those who missed this in the Samizdata comment section a few days ago, take a look at this and make of it what you will.
Horray for Hollywood Pallywood. Truth is all in the editing it would seem.
Update: And that applies to still images as well. Reuter’s has its ‘Dan Rather moment’ as a picture of the aftermath of an Israeli airstrike is proven to be a Photoshop ‘enhancement’

Who Are We? The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling.
We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe.

Reminds me of the infamous incubator incident from the first gulf war.
An valuable reminder that even irregular forces develop effective propaganda divisions.
However, when I see a video talking about how you shouldn’t trust what you see on video – well, I’m bound to ask who made it, and why, and who paid them….
Hense “make of it what you will”
Hilarious! And the Oscar for best slapstick goes to……..
Mind you, isn’t the Palestine health service wonderful? You can get an ambulance quicker than a yellow cab in New York!

luckylucky, good one. Article updated.
Unfortunately, when someone tries to make counter-propaganda one inevitably ends up with propaganda himself – even if for a good cause.
The only film that I saw that tries to deal with these issues analytically, and to make a point beyond preaching to converted, was shown for some reason in art gallery – in Royal College in London some years ago, I think it was called “Case history”
Good Lord, I had no idea is was quite as rank as this! Yet I cannot imagine the professional journos can have missed this all these years. I suppose as long as they get their “dramatic newsworthy moment”, why let a little issue like the truth get in the way?
I never though it possible that my distrust of the media could get worse than it already was. It seems I was wrong.
