Who Are We?The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling. We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe. “hammered by spammers”?
You mean spammered?
Perry………….(Spross of Ross or Piers?….curious): Can you identify the spammers? If so, whom might they be & is there a pattern? If there is a pattern, what, in your opinion, are the implications?
Best of luck, Perry.
GoD:blog was hit last night by spammers we had to add another piece of anti-spamming tech to end the tide. It seems to come in waves and mostly at the weekends.
I was reading a blog a few weeks ago that detailed how Islamofascists are employing “cyber-terrorism” against websites they deem offensive, like say any site that published or supported the publication of the “satanic cartoons”. These were mostly DOS attacks, but seems that spam would be just as effective.
