    My New Year’s resolution is to lead a bloody coup and replace all the world’s governments with a single global insane psychotic dictatorship led by me.

    Oppose me not, for my time has come.

    Trust me when I say that quitting smoking and losing weight are diametrically opposed to each other. Pick one, because you’re automatically going to default on the other.

  • A friend of mine made a New Year’s resolution to eat bacon with every meal for a month. Unlike most New Years resolutions, he actually kept this one.

  • I have made a resolution never to make any New Years resolutions.

  • 1 and 2- Choose 1.
    3- More, definatly, better you have to work for!

    If you want to quit smoking try the Allen Carr method.

    I have happily been smoke free for 5 years and have no pangs at all when drinking, eating etc.

    Unfortunately, his method is not accepted by the senior UK medical establishment currently (even though he is a Brit. I have spoken to NHS nurses who think he is great) and so he has not got the recognition he deserves.

    There are hardly any withdrawal symptoms with this method. All you need to buy is the book. No patches or stuff like that.

    Look at amazon.com to get his book “Allen Carrs Easy Way to Stop Smoking”. It really is easy.

    And ENJOY being a non-smoker. I know I do.

    1) love passionately;

    2) speak honestly;

    3) forgive without bitterness or hatred.

    The last one has always been the hardest.

    Giving up smoking is a doddle. I have lost count how many times I have done it.
