The game’s afoot in Iraq! In news which will surprise no one who has actually been following events and listening to what Tony Blair has been saying consistently for more than a month, it has been reported that 300 British SAS troops are already operating inside Iraq. God speed, Gentlemen.
Now please stop this preposterous charade of pretending to need the imprimatur of that exclusive club for mass murderers, thieves, thugs and tyrants (The United Nations) to justify anything whatsoever. We are already well past the point of no return, so just leave those friends of Saddam Hussain and Ba’athist Socialism who write for and advocate the views of the Guardian newspaper to their delusions of relevance.

One thing , The BBC tonight had two really lousy pieces. One on smallpox biowar in the USSR that the beebe would have dismissed as ‘macarthyism’ twenty years ago.
The other on Saddam’s missile boats in Italy. They said that the US supplied parts for them , Actually it was Jimmy Carter (The anointed one) who agreed to let the Italians use GE turbines that Fiat was building under licence for the Lupo frigates (Not the missile boats) The US didn’t even have diplomatic relations with Iraq at the time.
The Beebe made it sound as if Ronald Reagan had sold the Iraqis these weapons. Just normal ignorance and hate America crap from the home of room 101.

Byron: It was a favourite remark of Charles XII (1682–1718), who as well as being King of Sweden, was a military maestro of the first order and probably a complete psychopath… and it was his way of saying ‘I did it my way’.
I do not know if he coined the phrase or was quoting some other writer.
I am surprised that there are 300 SAS troops to send anywhere! I thought that there were only a few squadrons.
