We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous... lets see what is on the mind of the Samizdata people.
Samizdata, derived from Samizdat /n. - a system of clandestine publication of banned literature in the USSR [Russ.,= self-publishing house]

Chuck her in Boston Harbour! There is a splendid little article in the NY Post about well known Tranzi, Idiotarian and British national embarrassment Anita Roddick, of Body Shop fame. That she sees herself as being martyred by the ‘right wing’ along with a veritable ‘who’s who’ list idiotarians like Noam Chomsky, is particularly entertaining. We are not ‘right wing’ Anita, and we think you are a buffoon too.
Think what fun it would be to see the results of half a ton of Body Shop bubble bath being dumped in Boston Harbour!

Who Are We? The Samizdata people are a bunch of sinister and heavily armed globalist illuminati who seek to infect the entire world with the values of personal liberty and several property. Amongst our many crimes is a sense of humour and the intermittent use of British spelling.
We are also a varied group made up of social individualists, classical liberals, whigs, libertarians, extropians, futurists, ‘Porcupines’, Karl Popper fetishists, recovering neo-conservatives, crazed Ayn Rand worshipers, over-caffeinated Virginia Postrel devotees, witty Frédéric Bastiat wannabes, cypherpunks, minarchists, kritarchists and wild-eyed anarcho-capitalists from Britain, North America, Australia and Europe.

Acting up against Anita Roddick is a great idea; however, since she is not originally from Boston, perhaps another harbor closer to her place of orign [where spawned, perhaps] would be more appropriate, or return her to the Great Depths, herself!
what a jackass (and the company she keeps)
I think this “right wing” thing is a bit overplayed. There are certainly right wing morons who deserve no one’s attention. People like Reverends Phelps or Falwell or Robertson or Ms. Ann Coulter, etc. But saying they’re part of the “right wing” makes it sounds like they’re some kind of monolithic entity of evil. People in one cultural group tend to act the same way because they believe the same things, not because they’re part of some huge conspiracy.
At the risk of being branded an “idiotarian,” I think “rogue state” is a pretty good description of U.S. foreign policy. Suggesting that U.S. citizens regularly “disappear” is completely false, though. My guess is that she was referring to the “enemy combatant” citizens, who have had their civil rights unlawfully taken away. They are (as of yet) small in number (i.e. less than 10 individuals).
Complaining about people boycotting her business is just stupid. If people want to boycott her for her political views, that’s their right. I doubt she would have any qualms about boycotting a store with a loud-mouthed jingoist owner.
Arrrrgggggggg. Body Shop was my one self indulgent extravagence and now you tell me this. Shit.
